About

A small, focused tool built to help Singaporean Muslims and the wider community stay aligned with the Islamic calendar.

What this site is

Hijri.online is a free, ad-supported Hijri date converter and Islamic calendar resource centred on Singapore. It runs entirely in your browser — no account, no tracking of personal data, no payment.

What it does

  • Shows today's Hijri date in real time.
  • Converts between Hijri and Gregorian dates instantly.
  • Counts down to Singapore's Islamic public holidays — Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Aidiladha — and other key Islamic events such as Ramadan, Awal Muharram, and Maulidur Rasul.
  • Supports three calendar standards: MUIS (Singapore), Wifaq/MABIMS (Southeast Asia), and Umm al-Qura (Saudi Arabia).
  • Provides written guides on the Islamic calendar, Ramadan, and the Hari Raya celebrations.

Methodology

The Hijri conversion uses well-established algorithms tuned to each supported standard. MUIS dates follow the MABIMS criteria (minimum altitude 3°, elongation 6.4°) adopted in 2021. Where the algorithm and the official MUIS Takwim differ, the official Takwim takes precedence — please cross-check critical dates against the MUIS website.

Disclaimer

This site is an independent project. It is not affiliated with MUIS, the Singapore government, or any religious authority. Dates are best estimates; for fiqh, fasting, and worship decisions please consult MUIS or your local mosque.
